This position will require a couple of weeks to come into the Garfield Heights office for training. Perhaps 4-5 hours a day. The goal is to help prepare the assistant for the ability to work from home independently. This position initially allows for up to 30 hours, with fulltime being offered within a month of working from home. Benefits and salary to be discussed during interview Job Overview: The hours have a great deal of flexibility; however, we must keep in mind the needs of the customer base. Approximately 60% of the role is to stay in touch and assist current customers. This involves but is not limited to  Re-explaining their health insurance benefits.  Being the liaison between them and the insurance companies.  Being a liaison between myself (the owner) and the customer. i.e. may need to reorder insurance cards, address billing concerns and cancellations, help them complete claim forms, etc  Approximately 15 - 200% is spent calling new leads that we have purchased who are looking for help with getting either Health, Life, or Medicare insurance, and another 10% is spent in creating spreadsheets or using excel to help track items such as payroll, customers aging into Medicare, customers birthdays, etc.  5-10% is used for marketing. More can be explained during the interview.  The desire to multi-task such as handling large volumes of customer follow ups, while also calling vendors and responding to last minute needs.  Coordinating Medicare events =, such as educational, sales presentations, communicating with various vendors for collaboration partnerships Skills Required:  First-class customer service skills which include the ability to help folks who may be confused.  The ability to use excel and create spreadsheets, although the system I have does a lot of the work for us, previous experience is a plus. The ability to listen with empathy and to be patient while at the same time completing as much on your task list as you can  The ability to work from home without being distracted.
