Job Title: Events Coordinator

Reports to: Marketing Director
Work Schedule: 8am- 5pm Monday-Friday
Work Location: Corporate Office – Greensboro, NC

Position Summary: Seeking a talented, motivated events coordinator to organize outstanding, unforgettable events. The successful candidate is personable, highly organized, understands vendor management well, and has a passion for delivering outstanding events. Excellent communication skills and attention to detail are vital in this role.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Event Coordination

  • Coordinates all aspects of events, including planning, logistics, execution, and post-event follow-up.
  • Develop event timelines and manages budgets and staffing plans.
  • Work with vendors and stakeholders to ensure all event details are confirmed and executed flawlessly.
  • Coordinates manufacturing training classes, including event registration, payment collection, hosting, catering, and reporting.
  • Properly register all continuing education events with the appropriate entities and maintain records and surveys for auditing and licensing purposes.
  • Manage event registration and attendee communication.
  • Oversee on-site event preparation, setup, execution, and breakdown of each event.
  • Coordinates and executes employee-centered events, including holiday events, parties, and celebrations. Assists with company projects like the United Way campaign.
  • Coordinates the bi-annual sales meeting.
  • Shop for and organize conference center supplies.
  • Coordinates customer and guest email lists, keeping them up-to-date and organized.
  • Coordinate alternative parking arrangements for events at headquarters as required.
  • Analyze event success and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Assists with promotional items for new hires.
  • Assist marketing and events department as needed with marketing materials, including business cards, name tags, brochures, tradeshow displays, manufacturer literature, and

more.


Position Requirements:

  • College graduate with BA or BS in relevant course study (events planning, hospitality management, and communication professionals preferred)
  • Must be detail-oriented, results-oriented, and able to embrace and adapt to change, along with the ability to effectively multi-task in a deadline-driven atmosphere.
  • Strong customer service skills, with the desire to go above and beyond for both internal and external customers.
  • A sense of humor and a love for trivia is preferred.
  • High levels of organization, planning, presentation, customer service, and professionalism.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of products, including MS Word, Excel, and Powerpoint.
  • Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends.
