Supporting the Future Programme as Asda separates from Wal-Mart for over 140,000 colleagues, the events coordinator will develop and execute activation events that make sure our colleagues are informed, engaged, and motivated around our plans to move our business forward.

Please note this is an 18 month fixed term position, but a high percentage of our colleagues secure permanent opportunities along the way.

Your Role

You will be a key part of the Engagement and Activation team, working closely with our Engagement Manager to create campaigns and events that keep our colleagues informed and excited about our plans to transform our business.

You'll be given plenty of space to look at what best practice looks like, bringing this knowledge in house and allowing us to showcase things to our colleagues in ways we haven't done before.

• Support the end to end delivery of activation events and campaigns
• Work with external partners and leadership teams to pull off seamless events for different audiences – both in person, online, and a hybrid of the two
• Manage all event set up, de rig and the coordination of everything needed to be brought in house

• Find ways to assess the impact of events and use the data to improve the event experience going forward
• General coordination and support of the wider activation and engagement team. Note this will involve elements that aren't event specific

About You

• Ability to organise yourself and a team, creating critical path documents to ensure deadlines are met
• Ability to plan and prioritise in a fast paced and demanding environment
• Bring creative ideas to the table and not afraid to suggest improved ways of working
• Experience of supporting event/project delivery from end to end

• Good interpersonal skills to be able to liaise across different teams within Asda
