Koch Specialty Plant Services, LLC (KSPS) is hiring for an Industrial Construction Estimator. The successful candidate will be able to effectively develop estimates for industrial construction disciplines including piping systems, fired equipment, civil, structural, vessels, towers and associated soft crafts. This candidate will assure all schedule activities are included, correct, logically tied, and accurately timed.

Location opportunities are Houston, Baton Rouge, or Tulsa.

What You Will Do In Your Role

• Site job walks to scope project, understand requirements, identify constraints, etc.
• Collaborate with KSPS project management, engineering, and operations to support project planning (post-award) and resource-loading schedules
• Accurately estimate costs for subcontracted scope items
• Obtain subcontract bids for estimate & schedule incorporation as needed
• Work on job sites at high heights to include tasks of climbing ladders and scaffolds for

The Experience You Will Bring

Requirements:

• Experience in the construction industry
• Experience reading and interpreting drawing details
• Experience developing scope of work and schedules
• Travel 25% of the time on average or as needed to job sites

What Will Put You Ahead

• Experience in P6 or Microsoft Project
• Experience in using estimating software (InEight)
• Knowledge of mass transfer equipment, fired equipment (boilers, burners, flares, VCU)
• Knowledge of I&E
