Cherokee Millwright, Inc. is seeking a dependable and motivated Equipment and Logistics Dispatch that is responsible for the daily internal / external equipment rental utilization and logistics while providing support to the Purchasing Agent when applicable.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Utilize and place internal equipment to job sites.
• Rent external equipment as necessary to fill job needs.
• Write PO’s for external equipment rentals ensuring Internal Rental Protocol is followed.
• Dispatch trucking for equipment pick-up and delivery
• Coordinate with shop foremen / estimators for shop deliveries
• Internal equipment billing
• Coordinate with vendors on equipment inspections and repairs ensuring no lost job time.
• Write PO’s for internal equipment repairs.
• Track movement of internal and external equipment from job to job
• Review equipment billing report for accuracy converting from weekly to monthly.
• Maintain equipment utilization report monthly.
• Assist Purchasing Agent in entering PO’s into Timberline as needed.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

No Supervision.

Qualifications:

Education and/or Experience:

High School diploma or GED equivalent; and

Two + years of experience in the field with a good driving record.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

Valid Class A driver’s license, Ability to Obtain a DOT Health Card or CDL License

Other Skills and Abilities:

Ability to operate the following equipment: Electric lift, Hand trucks, Pallet jacks, Forklift, Overhead Crane, and other Aerial Equipment
