The EP Tech assists physicians in diagnosing and treating cardiac and peripheral vascular disease and cardiac arrhythmias in the Cath/EP Lab. Specializes in the care of patients undergoing PTCA, stent placement, IABP placement and EP devices and ablations.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Biology Anatomy & Physiology, or related field, or allied healthcare professional (R-CIS/R-CES)

Experience:

2 Years EP/Cath lab preferred.

Electrophysiology Lab experience with all understandings of EP and Ablation devices. Ability to demonstrate competency in arrhythmia identification, hemodynamic changes, all interventional (EP/ablation/coronary).

Certifications: Current BLS Certification from the American Red Cross (HCA chosen provider) OR American Heart Association is required upon hire. Maintain current BLS; ACLS
