TYPICAL TASKS:

• Under close supervision learns and applies the Standards & Guidelines for Supervised Visitation Practices related to Custodial Parents, Non-Custodial Parents, and/or Guardians and their Child(ren) involved in an open Family Court case.
• Conducts and Monitors Supervised Visits and/or Exchanges with possibly difficult families in a courteous but firm manner
• Completes Observation Reports of all Visits and Exchanges by close of the business day
• Writes detailed factual information in a legible and non-judgmental manner
• Intervenes and calls attention to the Visiting Party and/or Child(ren) and contacts CPS (Child Protective Services) when needed
• Must be bilingual in Spanish
• Must reside in Hollister, CA
• Meets with the Director to debrief cases twice a month
• Attends on-going training
• Performs other duties as needed

EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS:

• Must be 21 years or older
• Must have a valid CA Driver’s License, Automobile Insurance, and have a reliable mode of transportation
• Position requires a flexible schedule including Evenings, Weekends, and possible Holidays

• Bi-lingual Spanish speaking
• Able to complete 24 hours of Standards 5.20: Uniformed Standards of Practice for Providers of Supervised Visitation & Family Code Section 3200.5.
• The candidate will complete CPR and First Aid Certification

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour

• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Social work: 1 year (Preferred)
