PeopleShare is hiring an Assistant Machine Operator to work with an international manufacturing company in Statesville!

Job Description

This is an entry level position with a company that has a great training program, opportunities for advancement, and will help you get hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment!

The Assistant Machine Operator will review production orders to determine machine settings and materials needed, accurately measure materials needed for production, record machine readings on a log sheet, and perform machine cleaning and filter changes as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Review production orders
• Prepare machine for production by accurately measuring materials according to the product recipe, mix materials, record mix information, and transfer mix to the production line.
• Assist with other production lines as needed.
• Operate machines effectively and record machine readings on a log sheet.
• Report any issues.
• Observe machine operation to detect any defects or machine malfunctions.
• Print labels and prepare products to be unloaded from the production line.
• Perform machine cleaning and filter changes as needed.
• Prepare materials for packaging by stacking, palletizing, and weighing products.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Able to follow all safety rules and FDA regulations.
• Able to operate powered hand trucks.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs throughout the shift.
• Basic mathematics and measurement skills.

This is a climate-controlled, clean room environment. You must be able to follow all FDA regulations.

Temp-to-hire, 12-hour shift opportunity!

Pay rate: $15.50/hr 2-2-3 schedule from 7:45am-8:00pm

$17.50/hr 2-2-3 schedule from 7:45pm-8:00am

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.50 - $17.50 per hour
