The IT Helpdesk Engineer will sit within our Client's IT Support team and work alongside likeminded customer service oriented technicians.

What You'll Do:
  • Installs and maintains desktop level operating system components and PC level application software on all computing platforms used within the company.
  • Monitors daily activity of the system as well as network connectivity and performance, reporting any issues to the other members of the department.
  • Assists in the development and maintenance of accurate documentation for all aspects of the company's client-based computing environment. Assists in the development and communications of standards for use, operations, and security of network, personal computers, and data
  • Troubleshoots user computing issues and challenges with both corporate and field employees.
  • Trains users on software and equipment usage when required.
  • Responds to the needs and questions of system users concerning their access to resources on the network and the operation of various software programs.
  • Communicates with other departments to report and resolve software, hardware and operations problems.
  • Researches and evaluates new technologies and performs other duties as assigned by management.

Skills/Experience You'll Need:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Management Information Systems or another technology related field
  • 1-2 years of experience in IT Support
  • Strong knowledge with the following:
    • Dell desktop/laptop hardware
    • Windows 10/11 operating systems
    • Microsoft Office 365 including Microsoft Outlook
    • Apple iPhone hardware
    • Client printers
    • Canon/Client copiers
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team is required
  • Professional, enthusiastic and participative attitude towards the team's goals and objectives
  • Must have excellent communication skills and desire to build long-term relationships with users
  • Must be self-motivated and have strong analytical aptitude
