POSITION SUMMARY:

Under the general supervision of the Laboratory Director, is responsible for independently performing laboratory procedures, testing as well as interpret findings.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Conducts laboratory investigations, experiments and/or research activities, and prepares analyses of findings using a variety of statistical methods

2. Performs physical, chemical, biological and microscopic analyses of laboratory specimens and cultures following established laboratory procedures

3. Performs labeling, logging and testing of samples

4. Processes, organizes and summarizes data and reports results of experiments

5. Consults with the Laboratory Director in developing and implementing laboratory procedures to be used in conducting and evaluating laboratory research testing and assists in the design of laboratory experiments, techniques, and protocols

6. Assists Laboratory Director with special studies in sample preparation

7. Uses computer work station to process analyzed data

8. Prepares, sterilizes, and conducts quality control procedures on laboratory equipment

9. Assists in the security and cleanliness of laboratory and equipment; ensures availability of laboratory materials

10. Prepping of samples for potency, heavy metals, residual solvents, terpenes and microbial testing

11. Performs basic customer service duties such as answering phones and e-mails.

12. Performs other duties as assigned.

13. Review, understand and follow all SOP’s set forth by management

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

• Laboratory experience: 1 year (Preferred)
