With advanced designs, features and test algorithms, our leak detection equipment provides fast, reliable and repeatable results for air leakage testing, gas leakage and any other leak test application. CTS serves several industries including Automotive, Consumer Goods, Powertrain, Energy, Medical and Military.
Position Summary
As a Project Manager, you will be managing all aspects of high value engineering projects, as well as having a hands-on role in the planning, designing and execution of those projects. Performance of technical reviews and analysis of all project stages are also part of your responsibility.
Your Day-to-Day:
  • Executing the necessary work in the creation, evaluation, implementation, and modification of standard techniques and procedures
  • Project responsibility for product performance, budget and schedule, and assigned labor and material resources
  • Customer management and communication
  • Working with engineers and representatives of other departments in the design, evaluation and improvement of projects
  • Leading engineering staff in using sound principles, theories and concepts in analyzing complex problems
  • Staying updated on new engineering technologies to enhance and improve CTS products
  • Coaching the engineering project staff in applying new and creative approaches to projects and problems
  • Ensuring the projects meet standards set by CTS and the customer
  • Providing direction and guidance to support the project staff
  • Preparing necessary project documentation
  • Assisting project team members to meet departmental and corporate goals for projects
What You Bring to the Team:
The requirements for Project Manager go beyond the obvious technical abilities. You must show superior and effective leadership, communication, and management skills. You must conduct yourself professionally, with work habits and personal conduct that reflect moral values and show a commitment to excellence. Creativity and innovation in problem solving are also necessary components of an excellent Project Manager.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Control Engineering; Master’s Degree preferred
  • 3-5 years of experience in project management preferred
  • Equipment design experience; mechanical and/ or controls
  • Strong communication skills; verbal, written and listening
