Freese and Nichols has a great entry-level Electrical Engineer I opportunity for May, August, and December 2023 new grads to launch their professional careers!

We plan, design, and manage infrastructure projects with client service and continuous improvement in mind. Freese and Nichols offers a flexible work environment which includes options such as a hybrid work schedule with remote work up to 2 days per week and an alternative work schedule with every other Friday off.
This role encompasses these work areas:
  • Building assessments
  • Primary electrical distribution
  • Medium voltage distribution
  • High voltage substations
  • Emergency power generation
  • Fire alarm
  • Lighting
Responsibilities:
  • Apply standard practices and techniques in specific situations
  • Collect, adjust, and correlate data and recognize discrepancies in results
  • Perform project assignments within the scope of work and guidelines
  • Responsible for coordination of project efforts contributed by technicians and/or drafting personnel working on the same project
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering (May, August, or December 2023 grad)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous internship
  • Participation in a student organization such as a professional or technical society
