Job Summary and Qualifications

As a highly-skilled, compassionate, Emergency Medical Technician you will help to provide exceptional patient care in our fast-paced emergency room. In this role you will be supporting the nursing staff as they care for individuals with needs ranging from minor injuries to acutely or critically ill patients. We have an amazing team and consider ourselves a family who work hard to support each other and we are looking for someone who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do. In this role:

  • You will have the ability to quickly and skillfully inform the RN staff of a patient’s condition and the symptoms they are presenting to help them make an informed initial assessment.
  • You will act in a composed and professional manner, especially under pressure
  • You will obtain and record hourly vitals as directed by the nursing staff
  • You will have a proven ability to perform duties independently in accordance with safety policies and procedures.
  • You will demonstrate the importance of all functions of your role, including but not limited to; obtaining information related to history and known allergies, assisting with sterile procedures, applying dressings, restocking supplies and linen as needed and cleaning rooms and equipment after each patient.

What qualifications you will need:

  • Current certification within the State of New Hampshire as an Emergency Medical Technician
  • Previous patient care experience in a hospital setting is preferred
  • American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • PALS Pediatric Adv Life Supt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • High School Graduate / GED
  • Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), or Advanced Emergency Medical Technician (AEMT) must be obtained within 7 days of employment start date


  • Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • PALS Pediatric Adv Life Supt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • High School Graduate / GED
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor, or Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), or Advanced Emergency Medical Technician (AEMT) must be obtained within 7 days of employment start date


This role requires you to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state and /or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved).
