Description:

The Manager of Health Informatics will coordinate all health informatics activities for a team, in support of quality in patient care, health care transformation and establishment of best practices. As a converging point person for people, process, and technology, the Manager, Health Informatics has a leadership role in transforming clinical care, maximizing the benefits of health information technology within Trinity Health.

• Serve as a key contributor working in collaboration with health care professionals on regional-wide health informatics projects.
• Collaborate with Health Informatics leadership to guide and coordinate the standardization and adoption of evidenced-based processes and content across the care continuum.
• Leverage health information technology, including clinical decision support, as well as process improvement tools, project management and communication skills to enable improvements in experiences for patients and clinicians.
• Coordinate health informatics initiatives and leads multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes and adoption of new processes and content across the care continuum for the region.
• Communicate findings and provides recommendations to Health Informatics leadership ensuring effective, efficient consistent delivery for health care transformation for the region.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Health Informatics or related discipline required or equivalent combination of education and experience. (required)
• Master's Degree in Health Informatics or related discipline. (prferred)
• A minimum of five (5) to seven (7) years of experience in a health informatics or related role and experience with clinical information systems and health information technology. (required)
• Certification from a national informatics certifying body. (preferred)
