We are a locally owned bakery/ Empanada restaurant, with two locations. We have a simple menu of high end Gourmet style Empanadas.

This is an opportunity to be part of a unique business, that started out as food vendors just a few years ago-- already growing into our second location! The food is great, and the simplicity of our menu makes it a great and fun job for the right person.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
SEEKING A RESPONSIBLE, MATURE INDIVIDUAL WHO IS SELF SUFFICIENT, IS COMFORTABLE WORKING ALONE, AND WANTS MORE OF A LONG TERM POSITION.

*Must have some experience in the food industry.

* Must be able to provide excellent customer service.

* Any experience in a bakery, coffee shop, doughnut shop, ice cream/ frozen yogurt would be great, as it is most similar to how we are set up.

*Must be comfortable with opening and/or closing responsibilities

*Must have some weekend availability

ABOUT THE POSITION:

Empanada Slinger -- your job is to SELL THE EMPANADAS. This means to man the register, take orders both in person and on the phone, heat up the pre-made empanadas and package them up along with sauces and drinks. You will be working alone (without team members). That means you will be responsible for doing every part of the job, including but not limited to: customer service, baking the empanadas, cleaning, re-stocking, ect.

Other job responsibilities will include:

* Filling sauces & folding boxes

* Washing dishes & cleaning

* Sweeping/ mopping/ taking out trash ect. (must be ok with some dirty work)

* Restocking Empanadas and supplies such as boxes, paper, cups, ect.

* Closing and/ or opening responsibilities

SCHEDULE:

Morning schedule is 8:30am/9:30am- 3pm (depending on location)

Evening schedule is 3pm-8:30/9:30pm (depending on location)

PAY:

Pay is minimum wage, $13.65 per hour PLUS tips-- including tips the average is $20 per hour, but can vary daily from $16/hour to $25/ hour depending on how busy your shift was and how good you are with customers

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
