Position Summary:

A member of the Department of Emergency Medicine who has the responsibility, authority, and accountability for coordinating and directing patient care for a specific group of patients within the Department of Emergency Medicine. This team member has the qualifications and experience to care for patients of all ages from neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduation from a program for professional nurses.
• Six months acute care nursing experience and/or equivalent emergency medicine experience (CST, LPN, or Paramedic).
• PA nurse’s license
• ACLS within one year
• PALS within 3 years
• Actively pursuing CEN within 3 years.
