Emergency Medicine Physician Needed Quarterly Bonuses! Seeking a Full Time BC/BE Emergency Medicine Physician in our not-for-profit hospital and physician group located south of Boston, 45 minutes from Providence RI.
Schedule: Full time (1504 hours/year, approximately 15-16 shifts per month) 8.5 hours shift. Days, evenings, and approximately 2 overnights per month.
Guaranteed salary with quarterly bonuses
Responsibilities Include
- Physician shall staff the Emergency Department; provide clinical and related administrative services patients as scheduled by the Chief of Emergency Services.
- Provide professional clinical services to patients in the Emergency Department and Urgent Care.
- Fulfill all other duties and obligations of the medical staff of the Healthcare.
- Maintain active BLS, ACLS, and ATLS until such time as Emergency Medicine Board Certification is obtained.
- Participate in administrative projects, as directed by the Chief of Emergency Services.
- Provide supervision for nurse practitioners and physician assistants working in the Department of Emergency Services.
- Provide, upon request from the Chief of Emergency Services and at Physician’s option, back-up coverage for the Emergency Department in the event that a scheduled physician is not available for a shift or demand for physician services exceeds the capacity of scheduled physicians (e.g., in the event of a sick call or local disaster).
