Journeyman Compensation: $24.00 - $47.00 per hour DOE
Apprentice Compensation: $19.00 - $32.00 per hour DOE

Position Summary:
The Field Service Technician’s main responsibilities include the safe and careful installation of company products at client sites, adhering to guidelines set forth in the NEC Codebook, blueprints, and the spec book for a project, and understanding of the NEC codebook as well as practical application on the job. The Technician will execute service work according to agreed workflows and in accordance with customer standard processes and safety guidelines while delivering excellent customer service to satisfy customers. In close co-operation with the customer and other Winn-Marion teams, you will also take actions to identify new Service business opportunities for Winn-Marion.
** This position is available in most of our locations, but candidates are preferred to reside in the Denver, CO area and be able to travel up to 75% throughout Central US. Some overnight travel is to be expected. This position may have remote work opportunities depending on your location. **

Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 1 year experience OR Associates Degree and minimum 3 years OR High School Diploma/GED and minimum 5 years of experience.
- Active Journeyman Electrician’s license or Electrical Apprentice license required.
- Ability to travel up to 75% required.
- Experience servicing critical power equipment preferred.
- Advanced level of ability to use Microsoft Office products.
- Moderate ability to self-Project Manage using MS Project or Excel.
- Advanced ability to write test plans and reports detailing test results.
- General mechanical aptitude and familiarity with working with hand tools.
- Demonstrated computer skills, especially with Microsoft Office.
- Advanced level ability to interact and communicate (written and verbal) information to varying levels within the organization.
- Valid driver's license with a good MVR.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Performs service tasks, identifies technical problems, and makes analysis through remote or on-site activity in any service categories (including installation and commissioning, maintenance, repairs, engineering and consulting, advanced services, extensions, upgrades and retrofits, end of life services, replacements, etc.).
- Terminates both high and low voltage equipment and cable/wiring.
- Contributes to customer satisfaction by executing service work according to customer order and expectation.
- Creates and maintains a good relationship with customers and understands their needs. Identifies new sales opportunities and communicates them internally.
- Coordinates, prepares and ensures that all materials, parts and equipment are available and at the appropriate quality for service activities.
- Troubleshoots equipment failure and makes recommendations to avoid repeating the problem in the future.
- Provides recommendations to management to improve operations and customer service.
- Applies safety rules and safe practices as well as environmental responsibilities.
Other Job Functions:
- Keep accurate records of hours logged, inventory parts used, and services performed.
- Checks and responds to all company communications on all scheduled workdays, including voice mail, emails, and text messages. Makes sure that old voice mails are cleared regularly so that the mailbox does not get full.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Work Conditions:
- Able to function in a field environment safely and effectively.
- Able to sit and work at computer keyboard for extended period.
- Able to perform general office administrative activities of copying, filing, faxing, and using the telephone.
- Must be able and willing to work in adverse weather (i.e. cold temperatures and high heat).
- Must be able to work from elevated platforms.
- Must be able to operate heavy equipment (i.e. scissor lifts, aerial lifts, backhoe etc.).
- Must be able to bend and cut conduit using hand saws, hand tube bending equipment as well as power and hydraulic cutting and tube bending devices.
- Must be able to push, pull, or lift up to 60 lbs.
