JOB DESCRIPTION

As an Electrical Project Manager, you will skillfully plan, execute, and finalize projects according to the project management plan to achieve specific goals to include but not limited to: conceptual design, Bottom-Up estimating, negotiating with both customer and supplier, vendor selection, site beta testing, profit maximization, customer reporting. The ideal candidate for Electrical Project Manager will have excellent communication skills, be willing to work long hours, and travel as needed. We are seeking candidates with strong and positive organization skills to join our team.

An Electrical Project Manager will:

• Continually build, develop and grow relationships with vendors, subcontractors and field personnel throughout entire process to ensure success of the project
• Develop project staffing plans to include labor, subcontractors, and project engineers
• Monitor, control and report on financial performance of projects
• Estimate, negotiate and procure vendors and materials for project
• Communicate project goals with field personnel in the electrical and lighting trade
• Communicate with customers, regulatory agencies, or any other stakeholders
• Oversee participation in all aspects of job site safety and adherence to OSHA standards
• Have the ability to manage numerous construction project assignments
• Manage, motivate and continuously improve team members

JOB REQUIREMENTS

The ideal candidate for Electrical Project Manager will satisfy the following requirements and qualifications:

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree
• Minimum of five years related experience and/or training in electrical industry
• Must be proficient in Excel, PowerPoint and Word
• Must possess strong professional writing abilities
• Proficiency with Bluebeam and Plangrid a plus
• Must be familiar with electrical estimating software such as Accubid
• Must be able to write RFI’s, produce accurate and detailed RFC’s and disseminate information
• Must be able to read customer RFIs, RFPs, blue prints, and contracts and disseminate information
• Master or Journeyman Electrician License preferred
• Must have Valid Driver’s License
• Strong verbal and written communications skills
• Ability to multitask while staying organized
• Positive customer service skills

Pay: $70,000.00 - $112,000.00 per year
