Job description

Electrical Engineers must have a strong background with Circuit Card Assembly (CCA) - Analog discrete digital designs that do not have any programmable devices or microprocessors on them.

• The CCAs in the system are designed for a 60-year life.
• To ensure that the CCAs meet this requirement, stress analysis and reliability analysis will be performed on each module type to verify that circuitry will not be over stressed by the design.
• Dealing with Parts Obsolescence is important.

Each CCA should be designed around an overall core functionality such as:

• Power Supply Section
• Module Status Indicators
• Connector Interface

Electrical engineers will be tasked with the following:

• Develop Common CCA sections
• Develop CCA Schematics
• Component selection and associated documentation
• Stress Analysis
• Reliability Analysis
• Assist in CCA layout and assembly drawing creation
• FMEA at the CCA level
• Assist in the development of the Maintenance and Troubleshooting Technical Manual
• Developmental Integration Testing of the prototypes
