Experience and skills:

  • Ability to work regularly at different project sites generally in the southeastern Pennsylvania region; hybrid remote work is available, depending on project
  • Bachelor's degree in science or EHS field; + 2-6 years experience
  • Working knowledge of applicable EHS regulation OSHA, EPA, DOT, and industry practice
  • Skills to integrate company procedure into work practice
  • Generalist for a site EHS program using established direction and guidance tools
  • Hazard Assessment skills and managing priorities
  • Manage and provide or facilitate client EHS training programs
  • Investigate problems, track, and report EHS metrics such as compliance, injuries, incidents, and training
  • Individual contributor
  • Interact with teams and represent company in EHS matters
  • Work reviewed with supervision on a general perspective.
  • Consequences of work may include serious injuries, loss of permits, fines, loss of client, legal action

Scope of Responsibilities:

  • Governance & reporting to site management
  • Emergency program
  • Life Safety and Fire Systems
  • Chemical and Biological Safety
  • Ergonomics
  • Contractor Safety Management, esp. related to Capital improvement
  • Job Safety Analysis for High-Risk Work, Electrical, LOTO, Hot Work
  • Inspections of physical structure
  • Slip, trip, fall assessment
  • Safety Committee
  • Audits of building functions, e.g., cleaning
  • Hazard Communication and State Right to Know inventory & reporting
  • Accident investigation and reporting
  • Compliance with Corporate Procedures
  • Procedure interpretation
  • Safety & Environmental Training; emergency programs, recycle, sustainability
  • Change Management

Implementation Methods

  • Immediate Transition period to understand the people and the programs at the site.
  • Develop Implementation program objectives through transition (3 weeks)
  • Implement management plan elements during transition
  • Normal coverage

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.50 - $38.50 per hour
