EARLY HEAD START CO-TEACHER/HOME VISITOR

Central Nebraska Community Action Partnership is looking for a motivated individual to fill a rewarding position working in our Infant and Toddler room as a Co-Teacher/Home Visitor. Individuals would be responsible for the care and education of young children, ages 6 weeks to 3 years of age. The Co-Teacher/Home Visitor is responsible for creating a warm and nurturing relationship with each child, and promoting a quality Infant/Toddler program for children and families to ensure performance standards are met. The Co-Teacher/Home Visitor would also be responsible for co-planning activities and ongoing assessments of the children as well as conducting home visits with assigned families and ensuring our organizations Core Values are always kept at the forefront. Candidates must be able to demonstrate effective communication and a non-judgmental attitude when working with staff, families and children.

Qualified individuals must have: a high school diploma or equivalent; a valid Nebraska Driver's License, reliable transportation and a working phone. Candidates must be able to provide CPR and First Aid Certificate or obtain CPR and First Aid certificate within 90 days of hire and maintain current certification throughout employment. BILINGUAL INDIVIDUAL PREFERRED. Prior experience working with children ages 6 weeks to 3 years old is preferred. This position is 40 hours work week working Monday-Thursday with a flexible schedule. Pay is $13.77 to $16.31 dependent on qualifications.
