We're looking for someone to join our team as an EHR Learning & Development Specialist who:

Manages the strategic development, implementation, and evaluation of electronic health record (EHR) education and training programs for clinical markets. Directs the activities of assigned stakeholders, business owners, and subject matter experts to develop best practice learning solutions that align with clinical and strategic initiatives. Works across multiple instructional delivery modalities to recommend, design, and build high quality, scalable learning experiences that supports performance expectations. Oversees and supports deployment and evaluation of EHR learning solutions at the local level.

Essential Functions:


  • Oversees development and maintenance of EHR training and education programs to support documentation of patient care and clinical decision-making. Manages EHR learning projects from inception to completion, including orchestration of stakeholders, subject matter experts, clinical education, instructional design, and IT. Partners and liaises with internal customers to gain knowledge of work situations requiring training, education, or communication of changes in policies, procedures, regulations, or technologies.
  • Works with subject matter experts to identify target audience's training needs and performance expectations. Recommends learning strategies and resources based on the audience, scope of work, and timelines. Monitors milestones and results to ensure projects meet quality expectations and deadlines. Develops professional, standardized training materials and programs by completing work statements, presentations, curricula, job aids, videos, and internal communications. Implements programs and trains superusers as necessary.
  • Creates, maintains, and audits training records and files for quality and adoption evaluation. Manages and completes activities of a diverse scope requiring minimal interpretation of policies and guidelines. Makes recommendations on new processes, tools and services. Maintains expertise in best practice education theories and approaches including instructor-led, virtual, and on-demand modalities.
  • Provides continued learning and communication opportunities for super users/educators to maintain and enhance training and end user support skills.
  • Exercises discretion, independent judgment, and in-depth analysis of variable factors under general supervision.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

You'll be successful with the following qualifications:

Education:


  • Associate's/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Required
  • Bachelor's degree in education, organizational development, business administration, healthcare administration, or related field: Preferred

Work Experience:


  • Three years' experience in areas including education/training, program management, performance improvement, healthcare: Preferred

The estimated base pay for this position is $64,480 to $110,575. Additional individual compensation may be available for this role through years of experience, differentials, extra shift incentives, bonuses, etc. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package, and a comprehensive benefits program is available for qualifying positions.
