Educational Program Writer: K-12 School Nurse Program Purpose:

To develop a comprehensive health and wellness program for K-12 educational institutions that details scope of work, policies and procedures, service effectiveness and evaluation, and community support system collaborations.

Requirements:

• BSN degree or Nurse Practitioner
• Extensive knowledge and work experience with IHPs, IEPs, and 504 Plans
• Extensive knowledge and work experience with health care delivery systems and primary health care.
• Extensive knowledge and work experience with school health law and policy.
• Extensive experience in school nurse program writing for healthcare staffing firms.
• Extensive knowledge and work experience in nurse education/teaching.
• Preferred knowledge and work experience with NYDOH policies and NYSDOE health education policies.

Benefits:

• Compensation: $35.00 per hour up to 60 hours for full project completion
