The Driveway Sales Manager is responsible for helping build, lead, and inspire their teams to deliver an unparalleled customer experience throughout the online buying process. This position will be responsible for helping interview, hire, and train Supervisors and Customer Service Agents. They will be a driver of culture and help integrate consistent processes, that lead to reaching and maintaining assigned position metrics, objectives, and daily activities. The Driveway Sales Manager will help mentor and develop their teams.
The Driveway Sales Manager reports to the Senior Driveway Performance Manager.
Responsibilities

  • Administer training plans and development of assigned employees/positions
  • Help attain department monthly objectives and daily tasks
  • Develop, train, and monitor customer engagement and follow-up word tracks
  • Systems expert for assigned positions
  • Internal/external paperwork and documents for assigned positions
  • Execute correct cross department communication and process flow
  • Work leads from CRM, CRM desking tool, and digital retail portal
  • Submit credit applications and deal structure into Route One/Dealer Track
  • Monitor lender portal for approvals
  • Restructure deals for lender approval
  • Work with Driveway Customer Service Agents to send updated proposals to customers
  • Identify protection products that fit into deal structure
  • Calculate taxes and DMV Fees (multiple states)
  • Load customer and deal structure into the Dealer Management System
  • Process all transaction paperwork, ensure it is accurate and meets Business Office and lender requirements
  • Track deal receivables and follow-up on outstanding items to ensure collection of all money and bank stipulations for contract funding
  • Submit customer information to lenders through lending portal
  • Manage collection and reconciliation process for cash, checks and credit card receipts
  • Verify all customer documents as necessary
  • Submit Finance Contracts

  • Previous automotive experience required
  • Sense of urgency and strong attention to detail

  • 5+ years of Sales Management experience
