Job Summary:
To prepare driver pay for company drivers to be submitted to the payroll department weekly.

Essential Functions:
1. Audits all driver paperwork and trip information against dispatch for payroll purposes. Audits all trip documents for billing, fuel tax, payroll, and compliance purposes.
2. Posts all driver pay, including but not limited to the following: mileage pay, miscellaneous pay for trips, hourly and/or daily pay, any other special pay.
3. Maintains lists and spreadsheets with information that include driver names, codes, pay rates, and current compliance/safety guidelines, and duty status changes.
4. Audits payroll information weekly to ensure accuracy before finalizing.
5. Interprets and implements company policies as regarding driver pay.
6. Maintains a professional relationship between the drivers, other WDT locations, and the trips department in regards to policies, paperwork training and issues, as well as assisting the drivers with pay questions or other paperwork related needs.

Additional duties and responsibilities:
1. Assists other departments in locating paperwork, auditing, research, and contacting drivers.
2. Assists with the indexing/scanning departmental duties when needed.
3. Any other task set forth by management.

Qualifications/Expectations:
1. Knowledge of efficient and acceptable office procedures.
2. Ability to answer telephones and greet public and coworkers in a friendly and courteous manner
3. Ability to perform assigned duties with minimal supervision; identify problems and implement or suggest solutions.
4. Ability to interact with tact and discretion with supervisors, fellow employees, and the public.
5. Ability to learn and adapt to new technology relating to office practices and procedures, maintain confidentiality of information, pay attention to detail, and work effectively despite distractions or interruptions.
6. Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize work.
7. Reliability in checking own work to ensure accuracy
8. High school graduate or equivalent
