The Driver & Mover position is responsible for assisting in the moving of furniture for either residential or commercial clients. They would also assist in the packing of items or the placing of furniture used for house staging. As a Driver & Mover, they may be responsible for driving Box trucks or cargo vans to deliver furniture.
Responsibilities: The Driver & Mover would be able to lift 100 pounds going up or down a flight of stairs. Must have good stamina and endurance due to the requirements for moving furniture into apartments with stairs only available to go or down floors. Must be able to work in the elements (Summer, Winter, Rain, etc)

Please note: general warehouse duties are a MUST when there is no road activity

Additional responsibilities:

• Will be responsible for traveling to different daily assigned locations to:
• take apart furniture
• wrap furniture
• load small parts into boxes
• dollying up furniture & pushing it to the elevator
• pushing it outside & loading trailers/trucks

Requirement:

• Must have previous driving & moving experience - preferably with a furniture company
• Motor vehicle report ( MVR) and background check are required. Must pass DOT physical along with drug screening

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
