Primary Responsibilities:
Assist the truck drivers in the functions of loading, unloading, delivering, and picking up raw lumber, building materials, finished merchandise, doors, windows, etc.- Deliveries and pickups are made at job sites, customers’ houses, or places of business.
- Assist the driver in delivering products and backing up the truck into tight areas.
- Show willingness to cooperate with fellow workers in making deliveries and the capability to load and unload materials.
- Expected to maintain courteous attitudes while representing the company, particularly when dealing with customers.
- Must have a team player attitude and build a good relationship with the driver.
- Maintain appropriate conformance with company safety policies, procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Perform other related duties as may be required by management.
Requirements
Requirements (minimum acceptable and/or preferred):
Education: High School Diploma
Specific Skills:
Ability to lift and carry heavy objects.
Knowledge of building materials and millwork production

While performing the duties of this job, the intern is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to feel and reach with hands and arms. The intern is occasionally required to stand, sit and walk. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 60 pounds
