Seeking a self-motivated and enthusiastic person to help us grow! The top candidate will be an expert multi-tasker with a “can-do” personality, willing to handle whatever may come their way each day. We are currently seeking a full-time Estimator to work remotely or in either our Houston or Dallas Offices.

Summary: Our highly skilled estimating team prepares takeoffs and proposals for commercial installations of floor coverings and related materials. We have the privilege of working on some of the most fascinating and challenging projects in the region. Previous commercial construction experience is required. Experience with RFMS estimating or CAD software is a big plus.

Typical Duties & Responsibilities:

• Perform take-offs and prepare complete bid packages using estimating and bidding software.
• Provide seam diagrams and color-coded drawings and gather and interpret other related information necessary to ensure entire scope of work is accounted for and properly executed.
• Communicate with internal and external sources, and be ready to work flexible hours to ensure project deadlines are met, installers are prepared, and clients are happy.
• Work closely with the Sales Director to communicate challenges and collaborate on solutions for an efficient distribution of workload.
• Accomplish department and organizational mission by working as a project partner both internally and with our clients.
• Update your Estimating knowledge by participating in ongoing educational opportunities.
• Receive requests for estimating and gather necessary information such as plans, bidding manuals, specifications, addenda, revisions to jobs in progress, etc.
• Research material requirements to include all finish goods, trims, accessories, installation methods, etc.

Qualifications
Education and /or Experience: 2-4 years in the construction field, preferably in an estimating role, or a combination of 2-4 years of school and practical experience.

Language Skills: Speaks fluent English. Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Computer Skills: Intermediate to advanced computer skills - Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook

Mathematical Skills: Intermediate to advanced math skills.

Physical Demands & Work Environment: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, climb stairs.

Travel: Typically travel is not required, however if working remotely, quarterly or annual travel to our Woodinville office will be necessary.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
