Ideal Candidate
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Must be available for service requests Monday-Friday for dog walks. We offer WEEKDAY walks from 10AM-5PM. However, we're needing walkers who are available from at least 10AM-2PM with select weekends.
- Able to commit to a regular schedule for at least 6 months client
- Able to follow directions easily, provide excellent customer service, and communicate efficiently to clients, team members, and management
** Our walkers can set up their own schedule/shifts, but would need to take on daily walks for at least 3+ clients during these times **
Required experience
- Must currently own OR have owned a dog
- Must have work history with a professional dog walking, pet sitting, or daycare company
- Previous volunteer at a shelter (HIGHLY PREFERRED)
- Problem solving and analytical thinking
- Tech Savvy and must have a smart phone with a data plan
- Familiar with the pet care software / app (i.e. Time to Pet)
- Reliable transportation (ie, car with a valid driver's license or bike ~ preferred)
- Availability to work / commute in Lakeview + Lincoln Park
- Working in all weather conditions
- Able to pass a federally compliant background screening
- Must be extremely organized, dependable, self-motivated, and have a positive attitude
- Flexibility with schedule and willing to add visits with short notice

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
