Job Summary:

As a Groomer at Pawsitive Experts, you will play a vital role in providing professional dog grooming services to our valued clients. You will be responsible for ensuring that dogs receive high-quality grooming treatments, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the grooming area, and delivering exceptional customer service. Your expertise and passion for animals will contribute to creating a positive and enjoyable grooming experience for both dogs and their owners.

Experience Requirements: To be considered for the Groomer position at Pawsitive Experts, you should meet the following experience requirements:

- Proven experience as a professional dog groomer, either through formal education or practical training.

- Demonstrated knowledge of different dog breeds and their specific grooming requirements.

- Proficiency in grooming techniques, including bathing, drying, brushing, clipping, and styling.

- Familiarity with dog behavior and the ability to handle dogs of various sizes and temperaments.

- Strong understanding of health and safety practices related to dog grooming.

- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients.

Compensation: As a Groomer at Pawsitive Experts, you will receive the following compensation package:

Hourly pay rate: $15 per hour.

Commission: You will earn a commission of 5% on the total sales generated from grooming services provided by you.

Daily Duties:

Grooming Services: Perform grooming services according to client specifications, including bathing, drying, brushing, clipping, and styling.
Trim nails, clean ears, and perform other necessary grooming tasks.
Ensure the comfort and safety of dogs throughout the grooming process.
Assess and address any skin or coat issues, such as matting or fleas, with appropriate treatments.

Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by greeting clients and discussing their grooming preferences.
Consult with clients to understand their specific requests and ensure their satisfaction with the grooming results.
Answer client questions regarding grooming techniques, products, and general dog care.

Sanitation and Hygiene:Maintain a clean and organized grooming area, including equipment, tools, and supplies.
Adhere to strict cleanliness and sterilization protocols to ensure the health and safety of all dogs.
Properly handle and dispose of waste, such as fur, nails, and grooming byproducts.

Record Keeping and Scheduling: Accurately maintain records of grooming services provided, including client information, preferences, and any specific instructions.
Assist with scheduling appointments, coordinating with clients, and managing the grooming calendar.

Professional Development: Stay updated on the latest grooming techniques, trends, and industry standards.
Attend workshops, seminars, or training sessions to enhance grooming skills and knowledge.
