This is a part-time, temporary vacancy located in Bailey, NC.
The W.E. Laupus Health Sciences Library seeks a highly motivated individual to work as a museum docent at The Country Doctor Museum in Bailey, NC. This is a Saturday position 9:30AM -4:00PM. Responsibilities include greeting guests, providing guided tours, collecting admission fees, and handling retail sales in the gift shop. It is essential that candidates possess excellent interpersonal skills.

Minimum Education/Experience
High school diploma or equivalency; or demonstrated possession of the competencies necessary to perform the work.
License or Certification Required by Statute or Regulation

Preferred Experience, Skills, Training/Education
Prefer museum experience, experience working in a public service industry, or a two- or four-year degree or concentration in history, public history, hospitality management, education, health care or similar field.
