Description
This subfamily is responsible for planning, engineering, and designing electric and gas distribution systems. Determines need, size, location and timing of power delivery infrastructure development to balance economic, environmental, social and regulatory constraints, and reliability needs. Duties may include work package development of overhead, underground residential distribution, and underground cable/conduit, field engineering of project requirements, identification of conflicting utilities, engineering and design calculations, and post-construction reviews.
Primary Responsibilities
- Works to achieve day-to-day objectives with moderate impact on the area/ project team.
- Works independently on larger, moderately complex projects/assignments.
- May assist other technical staff with tasks and assignments.
- Typically requires BS degree and 2 to 4 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with less than 2 years of prior relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications: EIT Certification (preferred, not required)
Pay Range:
Pay Range $54,600.00 - $84,000.00 - $113,400.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
