The Famous Steak House is expanding! Our new Castle Rock location is slated to open on July 1st and we can't wait to hire our brand new team!

We are looking for hospitality minded EXPERIENCED Dishwashers!

Colorado Springs’ finest upscale steak house and lounge located in the center of downtown will soon expand to Castle Rock. An elegant and classic steak house environment. Award winning prime steaks, fresh seafood, premium wines and piano bar provide a provocative mix of atmosphere and entertainment. Featuring 30+ Colorado spirits and wines as well as local craft brews.

Job Summary

Responsible for washing dishes, pots and other kitchen equipment. Ensure safety and sanitation compliance. Assist Line Cooks as needed.

Job Duties

• Sort, rinse and wash glassware, flatware, cooking equipment, and other kitchen items following appropriate standards, sanitation and safety procedures.
• Control machines, temperatures, cycles and maintain appropriate chemical levels.
• Learn and maintain knowledge of chemical safety, emergency procedures, contamination procedures, signs, and health hazards. Ensure OSHA requirements are met.
• Ensure kitchen stations are properly stocked with clean tools.
• Ensure necessary cleaning materials are stocked properly
• Inspect all items for proper cleanliness before storing in designated areas.
• Deliver clean equipment to stations as needed.
• Maintain a clean area by sweeping, mopping, and scrubbing all surfaces, appliances, containers, mats, etc.
• Remove trash and place in dumpster.
• Ensure storage area remains organized, and proper storage procedures are followed.
• Perform weekly cleaning of department tools, as assigned.
• Inspect equipment, structures or materials to ensure safe operations.
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
• Comply with all company standards, policies and procedures.
• Assist department, as needed.
• Additional duties, as required.

Qualifications

• Over three months related experience and/or training
• Self-starting with a pleasant disposition, and strong attention to detail.
• Must be able to communicate in a professional manner with guests and visitors.

Pay: $15.50 - $17.00 per hour
