Director of Social Work
Pursue this high impact role as the Director of Social Work; The ideal candidate will be able to plan, implement, and direct the effective and efficient delivery of Social Work Services / Therapeutic Activities to patients and their families. You will interact with other departments to deliver consistent and timely discharges of patients by maintaining communication with hospital staff and outside agencies ensuring effective department operations. In this role, you will drive strategic initiatives, and enhance the quality of results for discharge planning, and operational efficiency with a strong focus on patient centered care.
Required:
- Master's degree in social work (MSW)
- Licensure required as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) by the State of New York
- Seven to ten years of previous and progressively more responsible work-related experience
