The Role at a Glance
This position will provide leadership and direction to ensure individual and team results on complex projects/initiatives through execution of consulting services and portfolio management, which includes but is not limited to accountability for implementation of project deliverables with a focus on business planning, communications and change management within Corporate Finance. This position will divide time between project work and team management, including team administration.

  • Maintaining knowledge on current and emerging developments/trends for assigned area(s) of responsibility, assessing the impact, and collaborating with senior management to incorporate new trends and developments in current and future solutions.
  • Directing and enhancing organizational initiatives by positively influencing and supporting change management and/or departmental/enterprise initiatives within assigned area(s) of responsibility.
  • Establishing and implementing priorities, performance goals and objectives to ensure group results for assigned area(s) of responsibility.
  • Providing training and development opportunities, including stretch assignments, for team members and giving honest and open feedback to aid in the development of talent.
  • Directing and evaluating individual/team performance and taking appropriate action to meet and/or exceed performance standards for assigned area(s)of responsibility.
  • Directing and providing leadership to continually improve the capability and results for assigned area(s) of responsibility.
  • Ensuring that top talent is hired and retained for assigned area(s) of responsibility.
  • Building organizational capability within assigned area(s) of responsibility.
  • Serving as a subject matter expert to direct reports and team members as well as applicable internal/external stakeholders on project management and business analysis best practice standards, templates and practices.
  • Providing thought leadership, direction & organization on complex assignments, projects, and/or initiatives to build and enhance the capability of assigned area(s) of responsibility.
  • Analyzing complex project and/or program plans to validate if project outcomes will meet the business needs and align/support operational plans/objectives and recommending mitigation plan.
  • Directing and delivering complex projects and/or programs conforming to project management standards and processes as designated by assigned area of responsibility, including applicable change control and project management methodology.
  • Providing consultation with direct reports and/or project owners and appropriate stakeholders to manage project quality and cost.
  • Collaborating effectively with management and appropriate direct reports and/or project stakeholders on complex issues and conflicts that impact time, cost, scope, quality and risk of assigned projects.
  • Identifing complex project/program resourcing needs & facilitating the procurement of needed hardware, software & human resources for the project.
  • Using structured requirements process, clearly articulating, documenting and validating complex business requirements.
  • Advising and collaborating with key internal and/or external stakeholders to elicit complex business issues, determine root cause(s), and capture business needs.
  • Providing expertise and collaborating with internal and/or external stakeholders to assess, select and recommend complex solutions and/or alternative approaches that will achieve business goals.
What we’re looking for
  • 4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's) (Minimum Required)
  • 8-10 years experience in Project Management and/or Business Analysis that directly aligns with the specific responsibilities for this position, including 3+ years of managerial, supervisory, and/or demonstrated leadership experience (Required)
  • Demonstrated ability to be innovative and an aptitude to drive and accept change.
  • Demonstrated strong portfolio and project management leadership skills including, critical ability to coordinate and balance multiple projects in a time-sensitive environment and meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and sustain strong partnerships with business and IT.
  • Demonstrated experience in advising and collaborating with business and IT to assess business need, identify solutions to solve for business problems
  • Demonstrated strong relationship management skills with internal clients (e.g. senior management, peers and colleagues); proven ability to develop creative and collaborative approaches.
  • Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative style.
  • Demonstrates strong project management leadership skills including, critical ability to coordinate and balance multiple projects in a time-sensitive environment, under pressure, and meeting deadlines.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Pay Range: $87,700 - $159,900

Actual base pay could vary based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, education, location, licensure requirements, proficiency and qualifications required for the role. The base pay is just one component of Lincoln’s total rewards package for employees. In addition, the role may be eligible for the Annual Incentive Program, which is discretionary and based on the performance of the company, business unit and individual. Other rewards may include long-term incentives, sales incentives and Lincoln’s standard benefits package.
