JOB DESCRIPTION
- Maintains a professional image and exhibits excellent customer relations to patients, visitors, physicians, and co- workers in accordance with our Service Excellence Standards and Core Values. Keep the Service Excellence statement as first item.
- Responsible for leading all areas of fundraising and related activities at McLeod Health Foundation. This includes Foundation Board leadership and development, donor growth and stewardship, building and maintaining successful giving programs, and financial growth as outlined in the Foundation’s strategic plan.
- Responsible for raising funds for the McLeod Health Foundation through the development, administration, coordination and implementation of strategic fund development program. Major emphasis will give given to major and planned gifts.
- Develop and implement plans for securing major gifts and deferred gifts from donors through estate planning and other types of gifts.
- Manage systems and software to track and cultivate donors and prospects, including donor database and wealth screening tools.
- Responsible for expanding the fundraising efforts for the McLeod Health Foundation that includes a personal calls program with Individuals, Corporations, Businesses and Organizations.
- Represents the McLeod Health Foundation to key Foundation constituencies including public speaking engagements and attendance at community events. Promotes fundraising efforts through presentations to civic groups and community organizations.
- Manages and directs the work of Foundation Staff as assigned. Reports directly to the Executive Director.
