Position Description: This position will be responsible for the administrative oversight of the Social Work department across both the Arsenal and Delmar campuses for St. Louis Forensics Treatment Center. This includes program monitoring and development, ensuring fidelity of treatment and model delivery, annual program manual review and update, ensuring readiness for accreditation and licensure surveys, policy development and revision. As well as ensuring the quality of patient documentation including treatment plans, progress notes, and Transition of Care through audits of records. The Director will participate in executive leadership committee meetings, collect data and complete reports for various committees.
This individual will hold multiple committee memberships, in various roles, which may include: Clinical Executive Committee, Provision of Care, Quality Counsel, Patient Rights, Ethics, Zero Suicide, RCA's and Special Projects as assigned. There will be collaborative supervision of the Assistant Director of Social Work and all social workers (with program directors), including all hiring, disciplinary actions, inquiries/allegations of misconduct, abuse, or neglect, and other Human Resource related issues including resolution of patient grievances as requested; coordinate with General Counsel for all pending guardianship hearings/cases across both campuses.
Qualifications: A successful candidate must meet the minimum qualifications in order to determine eligibility. Allowable experience and education substitutions are permitted. Licensure as a Clinical Social Worker, four or more years of licensed Clinical Social Work experience, 1-2 years of supervisory experience.
