Job Description

The Senior Manager of Enterprise Physical Security Operations will oversee the protection of physical / intellectual assets and strategy across all OCA’s locations. This role will support all business units across the America’s region, physical sites and field-based business units. This role will ensure proper physical / supply chain security planning measures are in place to ensure protection of people, property and brand are protected. This position will create, implement, and monitor policies for the main physical/supply chain security operations for the OCA Organization(s): Travel Security-Duty of Care, Physical Security, Supply Chain Security, Asset Protection, etc.
This position will strategically lead and champion the overall vision for Security Operations within the OCA region, inclusive of all compliance areas to ensure the implementation and the maintenance of OCA’s security systems and programs throughout all business units.

Job Duties

  • Sets overall strategy. Vision, roadmap, and leadership necessary to effectively manage the enterprise security Operation along with Operational Programs including (SCM Physical Security, Travel Security, Duty of Care, External Guard Services, Companywide Training, Emergency procedures and incident responses between both enterprise security / EHS departments, CTPAT, Etc.).
  • Provides executive level decision support through both informal and formal means, including, but not limited to executive level metrics, dashboards, risk analysis and mitigation, and reporting.
  • Provide the OCA EXCOM stakeholders with timely and appropriate information, best practices, and recommendations on supply chain security compliance matters in accordance with corporate policy guidelines.
  • Lead the regions mass notification program (Everbridge) to ensure proper communication and support is provided to both onsite and field employees during crisis events (e.g. weather, civil unrest, site closures, etc.).
  • Work cross functionally with leadership to oversee and coordinate security efforts that align with cyber security, compliance, regulatory, operations, corporate, and legal objectives.
  • Maintain expert level knowledge in best practices for security programs and remain current to mitigate security breaches.
  • Conduct investigations and create action plans as required for both the Enterprise Security.
  • Provide leadership and support to security and business professionals managing regulatory and internal supply chain security programs throughout Olympus

Job Qualifications

Required:


  • Bachelor’s degree required/MBA preferred-operations management: criminal justice, law enforcement, security or a closely related field.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of security best practice, as developed through a minimum of 10 plus years of progressive experience within the security industry, supply chain security including subject matter expertise for technical, physical and electronic protection systems.


Preferred:


  • High-level critical thinking and analytical skills, management experience and exceptional relationship management competencies to understand the impact and sensitivity of security issues.
  • An advanced and functional understanding of current and emerging security industry standards, technologies and systems.
  • Ability to develop and project-manage full life-cycle implementations for core physical security programs, including creation of policies, standards, guidelines, processes, procedures, plans and tactical deployment of security technologies.
  • Ability to effectively communicate within all levels of the organization on security initiatives, projects, decisions, and information.
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with other Olympus groups, teams and stakeholders to implement security programs and practices in the organization.
  • Strong knowledge of access control systems, CCTV, safety, and intrusion control systems.
  • Regional and/or global experience strategically leading, managing and supporting supply chain physical security and compliance with regulatory programs.
  • Experience strategically leading supply chain security regulatory programs i.e. TAPA, CTPAT, AEO, and other trade compliance security initiatives.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of all US security import control regulations and strategic experience with North American and EU regulations, external audits, and custom authorities.
  • Ability and willingness to be on call 24/7 to respond to company-related security emergencies.
  • Demonstrated experience and exposure in the domestic and international security arena dealing with and managing security-related issues in a similarly sized private sector corporation.
