We are seeking a dynamic, think out of the box, high energy leader as the Director of Sales for our Holiday Inn Express and Suites Located in Price, UT.

Our ideal candidate will be engaged, authentic, and driven to succeed to positively impact the team have outstanding customer service skills, and be reliable with good Work ethics.

Overall Responsibilities

The Director of Sales will be responsible for the development and implementation of the total sales effort of our hotel, including securing new accounts, maintaining existing accounts, and executing sales and marketing strategies to maximize the profitability of the hotel while maintaining customer satisfaction. Other responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following:

· Soliciting group business within different market segments via prospecting and outside sales calls

· Identifying, prospecting, securing, and managing leisure / transient business in order to meet and exceed annual and monthly budgeted room nights and room revenue

· Maintaining rapport and developing future business with existing contacts

· Developing and maintaining relationships with key clients in order to produce a profitable mix of sales

· Attending networking events, developing and maintaining good relationships with officials and representatives of local community groups, companies, and trade organizations in order to generate sales for the hotel

· Conducting site tours with prospective guests.

· Maintaining customer database

· Preparing contracts and BEO's and maintain departmental communication to ensure delivery of flawless events

· Developing and managing the departmental budget and monitoring sales activity and performance to ensure sales meet or exceed established profit plan and to accurately report variances/projections to management

Requirements:

· Minimum of 2 years of hotel sales experience

· Holiday Inn Express and Suites experience strongly preferred

· Market knowledge strongly preferred

· Knowledge of Opera prefered but can train

· Proficient in Microsoft Word, Office, Internet

· Well organized and detail-oriented

· Ability to work independently

· Display initiative, perseverance, and analytical skills

· Effective communication

· Professional and ethical

· Excellent customer service skills

· Quick learner and hard worker

· Team player and ability to get along with others

· Available to meet guests which may include weekends

· Ability to read, write and speak English, with excellent grammar and communication skills (written and verbal)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 35,000.00 to 40,000.00Depending on Expreiance
