• Lakeview Village a non-profit 5-star CCRC in Lenexa Kansas is looking for a Director of Therapy Services to provide direction, leadership, and develop programs for Lakeview Village post-acute programs allowing our therapists to provide outstanding services across multiple services lines to assist the residents/clients with their therapy needs.
• The Director will be responsible for Physical Therapists, Occupational therapists, and Speech Therapists working in our Short Stay Skilled Rehabilitation Neighborhoods, Long Term Skilled Neighborhoods, Assisted Living Facility, Home Health Agency, and our 6 Outpatient Therapy Clinic locations in Johnson County.
• The Director of Therapy Services must have a current state license as an RPT, OTR, or SLP with at least 10 years of experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility, Home Health Agency, and/or Outpatient Therapy Clinic or 5 years as a Regional Director for Therapy Company.
• Demonstrated organizational ability and financial understanding of PDGM, PDPM, Part B therapy reimbursement, and Managed Care authorization and reimbursement. Demonstrated ability to implement, maintain, and monitor EMR systems. Demonstrate a complete understanding of the CMS 700/701 Evaluation Forms. Demonstrate a thorough understanding of CMS regulations as they relate to therapy services in SNF, HHA, and OPT.
• Ensures program compliance through review for accurate billing, documentation, and evidence-based treatment options for each resident/client’s specific needs.
• Responsible for maintaining optimal staffing mix.
• Including recruitment, orientation, development, retention, scheduling, and employee engagement of 90 plus therapy staff.
• Collaborate with facility leadership to drive clinical excellence and supportive facility culture.
• Ensures rehabilitation staff is providing appropriate care to Residents in keeping with established standards for quality and in accordance with generally established principles of care.
• Supervises the scheduling of residents for therapy services considering available treatment hours, staff resources, and overall plan of care.
• Manages the evaluation and development of in-house therapy programs including equipment assessment and staffing ratios.
• Responsible for identifying clinical program needs of the community in all areas of the operation while assisting with the implementation and monitoring of these programs.
• Must stay updated on changing regulations and ensure full compliance with the facility, state, and federal policies regarding payments and medical care for rehab patients. Other duties include staying compliant with OSHA standards and Infection Control.
