Could This Be For You?:
We are seeking a Director, Mergers & Acquisitions - Hybrid Remote (home/office) who will be responsible for analysis of financial statements and management of the various functions related to the acquisition processes. Must be able to lead project teams through all phases of the process. Will leverage exceptional expertise in this highly collaborative and influential position. Reporting to and partnering closely with the VP of Mergers & Acquisitions providing day-to-day leadership for the M&A program.

Your Impact:
  • Identify and prioritize acquisition targets in collaboration with Hanger Clinic
  • Identify and communicate key issues and risks, present recommendations on deal points.
  • Analyze the business and financial statements; identify synergies and appropriate adjustments to develop the business case and pro forma financial statement.
  • Develop valuation and deal terms for presentation to the CFO
  • Prepare and negotiate the Term Sheet.
  • Manage the due diligence process; financial and operational.
  • Determine the impact of due diligence results on the Term Sheet.
  • Provide required data to Hanger Clinic for the development of the budget
  • Manage preparation and negotiation of the purchase agreement; interact with the attorneys and sellers.
  • Manage preparation of schedules related to the purchase agreement
  • Coordinate with Director, Operations to ensure timely completion of integration checklists to bring the acquisition “on-line” as a Hanger facility.
  • Monitor performance of the acquisition versus the pro forma; coordinate with the Director, Operations completion of and presentation of “Scorecards”.
  • Present updates to the Senior Leadership Team
  • Perform other business development duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance or a law degree is required.
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of M&A experience to include legal, accounting, banking or other comparable experience working on the valuation of companies is required.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience leading M&A teams and transactions is required.
Additional Success Factors:
  • Communicate effectively for accurate and concise oral and written presentations to the VP of M&A, Senior Management, Sellers and their accounting and advisors.
  • Manage multiple projects effectively.
  • Develop credible internal and external relationships.
