Director of Plant Operations

Riverwalk Village at the House of The Good Shepherd, a premier destination for senior living in Hackettstown, NJ and managed by FellowshipLife, Inc. is seeking a Director of Plant Operations.
With almost 140 years of serving the community, The House of the Good Shepherd goes well beyond physical support. We currently have an immediate opening for a Full-Time Director of Plant Operations. We seek individuals who enjoy working with the elderly, who are caring and compassionate, flexible, takes initiative, and enjoys being a part of a caring, supportive team.

This is not a remote position.

Responsibilities include:

• Overseeing the operations of the Maintenance and Transportation departments including oversight of budgets
• Will be responsible for Emergency Preparedness
• Lead weekly surveillance rounds
• Maintain life safety book according to state and federal guidelines and emergency management.
• Develop and implement repair and maintenance schedules for all facility and grounds; ensuring all preventative maintenance tasks are completely in a timely manner.
• Handle some IT troubleshooting issues such as phone systems.

Candidate must have at least 2-4 years of Director level experience. Must be able to communicate effectively and must have had a team of at least 4 people reporting into them in a former position. Will report directly to the Executive Director. Must have at least 4 years’ experience in a healthcare setting.
