THE TYPE OF DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We're searching for someone who can meet the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, operations management, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in an Operation Manager level role
  • 3+ years of experience in the facility service industry
  • General knowledge about the locksmith industry, including trends, technology, and regulations
  • Strong computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office and other business software applications
  • Verifiable Experience managing a team of 10-15 people

WHAT IT'S LIKE TO BE OUR DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS

This business management position works full-time Monday through Friday. Some weekend availability is occasionally needed.

Being our Director of Operations, you play a crucial role in our company as you ensure that our day-to-day operations run smoothly. Your business management responsibilities include overseeing dispatches, part orders, and shipping. You also look for ways to improve our processes by seeking out technology solutions, negotiating prices, and implementing software to optimize our work. Additionally, you're always on the lookout for opportunities to expand your knowledge of the locksmith industry and help us reach new heights.

When it comes to managing schedules and staff, you proactively conduct training sessions, recruit new employees, and smoothly integrate them into our team. You also ensure efficient communication channels within our team by overseeing phone calls, emails, documentation, and meetings. Additionally, you collaborate closely with our technicians to ensure that their vehicles are well-maintained, fully stocked with necessary inventory, and tracked in real-time using GPS.

Our customers are a top priority, and you oversee our quality assurance to ensure that they receive efficient and timely service. You're analytically minded, so you develop practices that streamline our field operations and inventory control. Additionally, you coordinate trade shows in various states, including scheduling, product transport, and sales tax.
