Connell Foundation Food Group LLC is hiring a full-time Lounge and Co-Working Food Service Attendant for our premier state-of-the-art catering and coworking restaurant in Round Table Studios (RTS) located in The Park directly off Route 78 in Berkeley Heights, NJ. This is a guest facing position that entails servicing the Co-Working amenity spaces, taking food and beverage orders, happy hour and event bartending and preparing espresso drink orders. It requires an innovative mentality when creating and maintaining a high quality, welcoming, professional environment for members and guests. An integral part of the job is to ensure the RTS brand is synonymous with concierge service while being recongnized for its outstanding hospitality.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and Assist in meetings, serving, and breakdown.
• Preset meeting rooms for future events.
• Read and follow banquet event orders.
• Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages based on customer requests.
• Clean glasses and bar utensils
• Set up, restock work area(s) as required.
• Immediate cross-training to include barista and food service, including ala carte restaurant and catering services.
• Interface directly with clients and guests.
• Prioritization of tasks- Managing unscheduled impromptu tasks while prioritizing all regularly scheduled duties.
• Multitasking at all times, focusing on one priority while tracking all others.
• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness, sanitation, and organization in work areas.
• Work with a high sense of urgency to meet order preparation goals.
• Serve food to customers as required.
• Attend all mandatory meetings.
• Complete other duties as assigned by supervisor.
• In person, onsite attendance and onsite collaboration is an essential function of this position. As such, physical presence is required as per your work schedule.
• Hours are Monday through Friday, with availability for extra shifts due to outside catering and events.

Qualifications:

• TIPS certification preferred
• Good communications skills are a must
• Must be passionate about providing excellent service.
• Enjoy working with people.
• Maintain a friendly and professional presence with customers and co-workers at all times.
• Consistently exhibits a positive attitude
• Uphold proper safety and sanitation habits at all times.
• Must be dependable and punctual.
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced team environment.
• Previous Experience preferred
• Read and speak English
