The Director of Facilities is responsible for overseeing all the maintenance operations across UCH’s asset portfolio. In coordination with the Operational staff at each community will help to deliver cost reductions, optimize, and improve onsite Maintenance and Environmental services across UCH’s Communities.

Requirements:

· Oversee the maintenance operations of properties across multiple states, including preventive, repairs, renovations, special projects, and construction.

· Manage and supervise maintenance staff members, including hiring, training, and scheduling.

· Develop and maintain relationships with property managers, vendors, and contractors.

· Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards.

· Manage the maintenance department's budget and resources effectively.

· Develop and implement strategies to enhance the quality of our properties and reduce maintenance costs.

· Main point of contact for all Facilities Management relationships and agreements across the UCH Portfolio.

· Oversees and handles the negotiation of terms of agreements with suppliers.

· Review and lead the team on property condition reports and yearly inspections with a key focus on useful life cycles for recommendation of replacement of key building items, (HVAC, Roof, Parking Lots, Building envelope and structures).

· Analyze, manage, and mitigate risk, along with active planning, to make decisions and prevent as many problems as possible from emerging.

· Review and recommend for payment periodic requisitions, invoices and supporting data from

· Assist in the inspection of projects for timely completion and prepare lists of any deficiencies.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field.

· Ten (10) years of experience in a maintenance management role, preferably in a multi-state environment.

· Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

· Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and standards.

· Ability to work effectively with property managers, staff members, vendors, and contractors.

· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
