A one-stop shop for luggage and travel accessories, Travaloo is the nation's fastest growing e-commerce trendsetter in the luggage and travel industry. This is a $28 billion industry in the US and we intend to dominate the market within 5 years.

We're seeking an experienced Marketing Director to get in on the ground floor. As the VP of Marketing, you will run the show. You'll work very closely with our CEO and COO, founders and owners, to create and implement all aspects of a comprehensive marketing strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop & execute a data-driven marketing strategy that aligns with company goals and objectives.
  • Manage the company's brand and ensure consistent messaging across all marketing channels.
  • Lead & mentor a team of marketing professionals, including web developers, content creators, social media managers, and graphic designers.
  • Plan & execute all digital marketing initiatives, including SEO/SEM, paid acquisition, email campaigns, social media
  • Research, identify and secure partnerships with brand ambassadors / social influencers (Instagram | TikTok)
  • Create & implement marketing plans for new brand and product line launches | seasonal campaigns | other initiatives.
  • Conduct market research to stay up-to-date on industry trends & provide insights to the team.
  • Track & analyze marketing campaign performance & make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
  • Manage the marketing budget and ensure all campaigns are executed within budgetary constraints.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 10-12 years of experience in digital marketing
  • Minimum 4 years in director role
  • Experience working in-house at online retail company

Preferred:

  • Experience also working at an agency
  • Experience in luxury goods industry (luggage/handbags, fashion, travel, cosmetics, etc)
  • Experience working in aggressive start-up environment

Day-to-day experience:

  • SEO/SEM: Heavy background and understanding of SEO/SEM, including Google Analytics
  • Paid Acquisition: Heavy background and understanding of paid acquisition, including: Google Adwords | Google Shopping | Facebook/Instagram advertising | TikTok advertising (all required)
  • Experience with YouTube advertising (preferred)
  • Organic acquisition: Significant experience with aforementioned social media channels, email marketing (Klaviyo preferred), and other digital marketing channels
  • Experience working with brand ambassadors / social media influencers preferred, including researching, identifying and securing partnerships
  • Experience managing marketing budgets and ensuring campaigns are executed within budgetary constraints
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in leading and mentoring a team
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing campaigns
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with data-driven decision making
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

**Compensation**

  • Hybrid of base salary + results-based

Pay: $72,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year
