Director, Financial OperationsJob Description Summary
The Financial Operations (FO) team supports the ongoing reporting, analysis and optimization of Cushman & Wakefield’s corporate free cash flow. The team is primarily responsible for analyzing and optimizing the efficiency of Cushman & Wakefield’s net working capital usage and works across the organization to scope, develop and action efficiency initiatives to improve net working capital metrics. The team works directly with Cushman’s CFO and global operational leaders, providing team members with unparalleled visibility and exposure. The small team size and broad remit requires the Director to take on significant responsibilities across reporting and analysis.Job Description
Key Accountabilities:
- Day-to-day ownership of material items on the Statement of Cash Flows and facilitating the optimization of those items
- Partner with functional finance teams to develop clear linkages for the Statement of Cash Flows across public filings, management reporting and operational dashboards
- Assist with setting baseline on current state of net working capital efficiency by BU
- Track ongoing changes to net working capital efficiency by BU
- Assist Investor Relations team with developing narrative on cash earnings and net working capital changes in advance of quarterly earnings reporting
- Ad hoc reporting to support Global Controllership, FP&A and Investor Relations activities
Required Competencies:
- Superior analytical and quantitative skills
- Strong writing, presentation and research abilities
- Highly motivated and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail and sense of urgency
- Intellectual curiosity combined with strong work ethic
- Team player with positive attitude, excellent interpersonal skills, and ability to “manage up”
Ideal Candidate Required Experience:
- 7+ years of experience in Big 4 Financial Due Diligence or similar
- Certified Public Accountant
- Extensive experience with financial modeling and business analysis
- Track record of excellence (vis-à-vis peer group) in prior endeavors
- Demonstrated ability to work well both on small teams and across organizations
