Overview:

The finance director must be a proven reliable professional with a broad knowledge of accounting, financial systems, tax, and business management. The director must be a strategic thinker and an effective leader who can guide and advise senior management to strategic decision making.

Responsibilities:

• Drive the financial health of the company by analyzing its performance and risks
• Set targets for and oversee all accounting and finance personnel (management accountants, internal auditors etc.)
• Oversee all audit and internal control procedures
• Oversee the timely reporting of financial performance
• Conduct analysis to make profitability forecasts and report to upper executives
• Ensure adherence to laws, regulations and guidelines

Requirements and skills:

• Minimum 5 years’ Finance/Accounting experience in the telecommunications field, desired
• In-depth knowledge of corporate finance and accounting principles, laws, and best practices
• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting, desired
• Proficient in MS Office, QuickBooks, excel and other financial management software (e.g., SAP)
• Ability to synthesize large quantities of complex data into actionable information
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
• Excellent business judgment, analytical, and decision-making skills
• Knowledge of financial reporting and data mining tools such as SQL, Access, etc.
• Solid proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook), SAP, and other financial planning software.
