A successful Director, Health S&T candidate will incorporate the following skills and experiences:
- Experience in technical, managerial or scientific fields and have expert credentials or be recognized as an authority and have the
- Strong oral and written communication skills are required.
- Experience with basic and applied research and prior experience as a senior SETA contractor is highly desirable.
- Experience managing R&D programs form inception to closeout is also highly desirable.

Additionally, this candidate will participate in program and corporate activities, such as:
- Managing complex programs / contracts and ensuring successful execution / delivery of business solution per client and contract
- Responsible for program financial management to ensure that profit is earned and loss is mitigated.
- Performing risk management and pursuing risk reduction on assigned programs, including identifying program concerns or issues
- Establishing partnerships and relationships with internal and external customers, stakeholders, peers and direct reports.
- Forecasting, staffing and managing personnel, facilities, services, equipment and tools to meet Corporate and contract requirements.
- Leading mitigation activities for complex and multiple projects enterprise wide. Mentoring others on the identification, categorization
- Participating in corporate management activities to include strategic planning, financial reviews, and monthly meetings.
- Participating in and leading corporate and program level business development and growth activities.

Qualification Requirements:
Education
- MA/MS in related field
Clearance
- HHS, NIH Public Trust (Ability to obtain)
Experience
- 20 years experience in a scientific field, with at least 6 years of contract and personnel management experience. Experience in

- Previous experience supporting proposal efforts
